This Privacy Policy explains how Screen Recorder: HD & Facecam ("the App"), published by The Zeus Labs, handles information.
Every screen recording, along with any microphone, system audio, or facecam video captured, is saved directly to your device's own storage (in your phone's Movies folder, visible in your Gallery). The Zeus Labs does not collect, upload, view, or have any access to your recordings.
If you use the optional Go Live feature, your screen and the audio you selected are sent directly from your device to the streaming service you choose — YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or any custom RTMP server whose address you enter. The Zeus Labs operates no servers of its own, and your broadcast never passes through us: we cannot see, record, or store any part of it.
Once your broadcast reaches that service, it is governed entirely by that service's own terms and privacy policy, not by this one. Who can watch it, how long it is kept, and what is done with it are decided there. Please read the policy of whichever platform you stream to.
Your stream key is stored only in the App's private storage on your device, so you do not have to retype it. It is never sent anywhere except to the streaming server you chose, and it is never written to logs or shown on screen. Anyone holding your stream key can broadcast to your channel, so treat it as a password. Clearing the field, or clearing the App's data, removes it from your device.
The free version of the App uses Google AdMob to show banner ads and a rewarded ad, shown only when you choose to unlock facecam or Go Live. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions and diagnostic data to serve and measure ads, governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not separately collect or sell this data ourselves.
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states), the App asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time from "Ad privacy choices" on the About screen, and reset your advertising ID in your Android settings. Users who buy Pro see no ads.
Pro is an optional one-time purchase that removes ads and the rewarded-ad step before facecam and Go Live. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never receive your name, card or billing details. The App asks Google Play whether your account owns Pro, so it is restored automatically after a reinstall, and keeps a simple "Pro unlocked" flag on your device.
To find and fix crashes, the App uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service. If the App crashes, it sends a crash report: the technical stack trace, the App version, the device model, Android version and similar diagnostic details, plus a random installation identifier. Crash reports contain no name, email, recordings, broadcast content or stream key, and we do not attach any identifier of yours to them. They are used only to fix problems in the App and are processed by Google under the Firebase terms.
The App may show Google Play's in-app review prompt after it has worked for you, and may check Google Play for a newer version and offer to update. Any rating you leave and any update you install are handled by Google Play; the App does not see your rating.
We do not collect your name, contact list, precise location, or the contents of your recordings or broadcasts. We do not sell personal data to anyone. The App has no account, no sign-in, and no backend service that your content passes through.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
